Job summary

A leading semiconductor distributor in Asia Pacific is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to streamline shipping and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders. The role involves creating air waybills, booking with forwarders, and ensuring timely delivery while maintaining accurate records. Candidates should have relevant logistics experience, preferably with knowledge of SAP, and the ability to communicate with English and Chinese-speaking contacts.

Qualifications

  • Able to write and speak English/Chinese.
  • Familiar with MS Word and Excel.

Serial Microelectronics, a subsidiary of Serial System Ltd, is a semiconductor and electronic components distributor with value-added design and application capability in the Asia Pacific region.We invite a suitably qualified candidate to fill the following position:

Logistics Coordinator

Responsibilities:

  • Support Internal CSR department on their orders to customers

  • Create AWBs for Courier Services Providers.

  • Make booking with Forwarding Agents.

  • Coordinate and follow up with forwarders on shipment and any logistics matters to ensure on-time deliveries of shipment to end-customers

  • Generate shipping invoices and booking with freight forwarders for outgoing shipments

  • Filing of records for logistics department

  • Assist to carry out periodic cycle counts and annual stock take

  • Liaise closely with warehouse staffs and internal cross function departments.

  • Other ad hoc duties when assigned by Supervisor/Manager.

Requirements:

  • Min ‘N’ Level/‘O’ Level

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience

  • Able to write English and speak English/Chinese (to liaise with overseas Chinese-speaking customers/staff)

  • Familiar with MS Word and Excel

  • Knowledge of SAP is advantageous
