Logistics Coordinator
Job description
Responsibilities:
- Liaise with agents, suppliers, delivery, etc.
- Manage stock inventory and logistics for local and overseas stock points.
- Speak English; responsible and hardworking.
- Admin duties, e.g., filing.
- Perform additional duties as assigned on an ad-hoc basis.
- Prepare essential export documents, such as packing lists and weight/volume calculations.
- Monitor and coordinate deliveries of items between suppliers and forwarders to ensure that all items are delivered to vessels on time.
Requirements:
- Relevant experience in the ship chandler industry will be an advantage.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment; dynamic & motivated personality; able to work independently.
- Willing to learn.
- Proficient in computer skills and MS Office.
Qualifications:
- None required
- Minimum 1 to 2 years working experience and knowledge of the maritime industry and logistics will be an added advantage.
