An established industry player is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to manage inbound and outbound logistics effectively. This role involves coordinating shipments, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess a Diploma in Logistics or Supply Chain Management and have 1-2 years of relevant experience. Strong communication skills, especially in Mandarin, are essential for liaising with international partners. Responsibilities:
Inbound & Outbound Logistics:
Coordinate and manage daily shipments, ensuring timely receipt and dispatch of goods.
Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and transport companies for delivery scheduling.
Verify incoming and outgoing shipment documents and ensure accuracy.
Inventory Management:
Monitor and manage warehouse stock levels using inventory systems (e.g., SAP).
Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
Order Fulfilment:
Process and fulfil internal and external customer orders promptly and accurately.
Coordinate with the sales and customer service teams to meet delivery expectations.
Documentation & Reporting:
Prepare loading order and weighting order for production team
Maintain accurate records of logistics activities.
Compliance & Safety:
Ensure compliance with company policies, customs regulations, and safety standards.
Assist in audits and ensure all logistics processes align with regulatory requirements.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities to improve logistics processes for cost savings and efficiency.
Assist in implementing new systems or procedures to enhance logistics operations.
Other Duties:
Support general administrative tasks related to the logistics department.
Participate in ad-hoc projects or duties as assigned by the management.
Requirements:
Minimum Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
At least 1–2 years of experience in logistics or warehouse operations.
Familiarity with logistics software and MS Office applications.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
We are looking for candidates proficient in Mandarin, as the role requires communication with our Chinese counterparts overseas and handling documents, contracts, and regulations that are available only in Mandarin.
