Job description

We are looking for a Logistics Associate to assist with the procurement processing and logistical support. You will support the logistics manager in coordinating the transport and storage of products and materials. Your duties will include receiving deliveries, preparing shipments, communicating with clients and carriers, tracking shipments, and managing inventory.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Sourcing of goods and services including obtaining cost/quotes, specifications, and delivery lead time.
• Raising of purchase request within a required timeframe.
• Coordination of delivery and goods acceptance.
• Management of store and inventory control.
• Liaising with stakeholders to coordinate logistics and timelines.

Secondary Responsibilities:

• Performing additional duties as needed.

Education

Diploma and ITE certificate or equivalent

Skills

Literacy in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook

Able to work in a team

Good communication skills

Experience

Experience in logistics industry would be an advantage

Preferably 1 year of working experience

Working Hours & Location:

• Monday – Friday: 08:30AM – 05:30PM
• Saturday, Sunday & Public Holidays: Off
• Overtime work is applicable, based on the prevailing overtime rate
• Working at Customer’s premise
