Job summary

LEA HIN CO (ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES) PTE LTD is seeking a driver to handle delivery and collection tasks in Singapore. You will plan routes, liaise with customers, and perform basic vehicle inspections and maintenance to ensure timely service.

The role involves loading/unloading goods and supporting stock management in a fast-paced environment. The position requires physical endurance and the ability to handle ad hoc tasks assigned by management, with a basic salary plus attractive commissions.

Qualifications

• Delivery and collection duties with timely execution.
• Ability to plan routes and manage delivery schedules.
• Basic maintenance and pre/post trip inspections.

Responsibilities

• Deliveries and collections to designated locations.
• Conduct pre and post trip inspections and basic maintenance.
• Plan and optimise delivery routes considering traffic and schedules.
• Liaise with customers regarding delivery times and expectations.
• Load and unload goods, ensuring proper securing and handling.
• Keep vehicles clean and tidy inside and out.
• Assist with stock checks and warehouse tasks as needed.
• Meet physical demands: lifting, bending, sitting for extended periods.

Job description

• Delivery and collection of our products to designated locations, ensuring timely delivery and collection and require to do disposal of electrical appliances as needed
• Conduct pre and post trip inspections, perform basic maintenance tasks
• Plan and optimise routes, considering traffic, road conditions and delivery schedules
• Liaise with customers regarding delivery schedules and able to handle customers well
• Loading and unloading of goods, ensuring proper securing and handling
• Keep the lorry clean and tidy, both inside and outside
• Help with stock management, inventory checks or warehouse tasks as needed
• Able to handle physical demands, such as lifting, bending and sitting for extended period
• Any other ad hoc tasks assigned by Management
