Job description

The Job

The Logistics Administrator is responsible for supporting all procedures in the operations of our Aerospace division, from coordinating deliveries to managing shipping documentation.

What You Can Expect of the Job

  • Manage and file all shipping documents for Aerospace operations.
  • Coordinate with other Store staff to get updates on all order transactions and ensure the system data is up to date with physical parts movement and proper supporting documents.
  • Communicate and coordinate with administrators from other Aerospace divisions (such as Customer Service, Workshop, Technical, etc.) about enquiries and reports on repair order status, receiving and outgoing status, inventory status, etc.
  • Liaise and co-manage freight forwarders for all deliveries and collection schedules.
  • Perform other administrative duties, including:
    • Matching system data with documents and physical parts.
    • Preparing weekly/monthly reports on store activities.
    • Coordinating and entering data for inventory counts every 6 months.
    • Reporting issues and status updates to the Logistics Manager.
  • Assist with and perform stock count entries during inventory periods.
  • Perform any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

What We Expect of You

  • ‘O’ level or Diploma in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics operations.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, e.g., Excel, Word.
  • Knowledge of BaaN / MFGpro systems is an added advantage.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while multitasking.
  • Attention to detail and good organizational skills.
  • Commitment to company values and confidentiality.
  • Flexibility to support various administrative functions.
  • Good communication skills and ability to interact well with people.
  • May require working beyond office hours if necessary.
