Job summary

A local hiring consultancy is seeking a General Worker (Shipping) to manage shipments, including packing and loading goods, and ensuring quality standards are met. Responsibilities

• Pack, label, and prepare outgoing orders for delivery.

• Help maintain records of shipped goods and update tracking systems.
• Ensure all items are packed securely and meet quality standards.
• Assist in general warehouse duties.

• Salary Range: SGD 2,100 during probation SGD 2,200 upon completion of probation

Job Responsibilities

• Preparing Shipments: Pack, label, and prepare outgoing orders for delivery.
• Loading Goods: Safely load shipments onto trucks or containers for dispatch.
• Shipping Documentation: Assist in checking and verifying shipping paperwork, including invoices, DGD, SDS, and packing lists.
• Tracking Orders: Help maintain records of shipped goods and update shipment tracking systems.
• Inspecting Packages: Ensure all items are packed securely and meet company quality standards.
• Warehouse Support: Assist in general warehouse duties, including receiving and storing incoming goods when required.
• Follow Safety Guidelines: Observe all safety, security, and operational procedures in the shipping area.

Requirements

• Education: Minimum of a secondary school certificate or equivalent.
• Able to Lift, carry & Loads goods (up to 25kg)
• (Preferred but Not Essential): Prior shipping, logistics, or warehouse experience is an advantage.
