Logistic/Warehouse Specialist - Up to $3600 + AWS | WEST

• Position: Logistic Specialist or Warehouse Officer
• Location: Jurong West
• Working hours: 5 days, Monday to Friday (8.30am to 6.00pm)
• Salary (commensurate on experience): Up to $3600+ AWS + OT + Medical + Dental
• Duration: Permanent
• Industry: Logistics (MNC)

Main Responsibilities:

• Receiving, handling, uncrating/unboxing large product in preparation for assembly.
• Assembly of customer’s finished product at customer premises on time to contractual lead times and schedule.
• Accurate placement of product using specialist measuring equipment.
• Assembly and fitment of intricate sub-assemblies.
• Fitment and routing of cable.
• Packing, handling, dispatch of return materials and packaging.
• Use of IT applications to plan and execute work and update completion of tasks.
• Communication of schedule and related tasks to colleagues and customers up and down stream to ensure seamless process flow.
• Provide training and coaching to new and less experienced colleagues and temp workers.
• Supervision and guidance to temp workers to ensure safety and best practice at all times.

Requirements:

• Must be hands-on and technically minded with an interest in build and assembly of product.
• Experience in a production/manufacturing environment is an advantage.
• Able to read, understand and execute in line with Standard Operating Procedures and Technical Instructions.
• Forklift license would be an advantage.
• Must be able to lift heavy objects.
• Minimum 1 year related experience.
