Job description

Position: Logistic Executive (Freight Forwarding/Import/Export)

Location: West (Tuas - transport provided from Tuas Link MRT) - Office to shift to Tuas West next year

Working hours: 5 days, Monday to Friday (8.30am to 5.30pm)

Salary: Up to $4200 + AWS + Variable Bonus + OT + Medical (commensurate with experience)

Duration: Permanent

Industry: Marine Manufacturer

Main Responsibilities:

1. Handle customer inquiries promptly
2. Coordinate import and export operations to ensure accuracy in documentation and invoicing
3. Provide quotations upon request
4. Apply portnet and generate CIPL
5. Liaise with overseas agents regarding requirements and rates
6. Check freight rates, transportation charges, manpower charges, and all other charges to prepare customer quotations
7. Liaise and coordinate with carriers, customers, and suppliers to ensure smooth shipment delivery

Requirements:

1. Proven experience in logistics, material planning, or coordination roles
2. Minimum 'O' levels or a Diploma in Logistics or Business Administration
3. Familiarity with portnet and crimsamlogic
