Job summary

PHOON HUAT PTE. LTD. is seeking a diligent Delivery Associate in Singapore to support daily deliveries, load and unload goods, and verify items against delivery details. You will hand over packages to customers, address basic inquiries, and report any issues to your supervisor.

Ideally, candidates are physically fit, punctual, and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment. On‑the‑job training is provided, with a 6‑day work week including early morning shifts.

Responsibilities

• Ride along with driver to complete daily delivery efficiently.
• Load goods onto the vehicle before departure and unload at customer locations.
• Check goods against delivery detail for accuracy and condition prior to dispatch and on delivery.
• Handover goods to customers, obtain acknowledgment and answer basic inquiries.
• Report delivery issues, damages, or discrepancies to supervisor.
• Support driver with navigation and route planning.

Responsibilities

• Ride along with driver to complete daily delivery efficiently.
• Load goods onto the vehicle before departure and unload at customer locations.
• Check goods against delivery detail to ensure correct items, quantities, and conditions before dispatch and upon delivery.
• Hand over goods to customers professionally, obtain acknowledgment, and address basic inquiries.
• Report any delivery issues, damages, or discrepancies to supervisor.
• Support the driver with navigation and route planning.
• Assist in keeping the delivery vehicle clean and organized; report any issues (e.g., damages, low fuel) to driver/supervisor.
• Follow workplace safety guidelines during lifting, transporting, and handling goods.
• Support the driver in completing delivery logs, returns, or incident reports if needed.
• Assist with warehouse duties (e.g., sorting, packing) when not on deliveries.

Requirements

• Physically fit (able to lift at least 20kg-30kg repeatedly).
• Prior delivery experience preferred but not compulsory; on job training provide.
• Basic English literacy (to read invoice/delivery order).
• Punctual, responsible, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• 6-day work week early morning shift.
