Job summary

SG REHAB PTE. LTD. is seeking a Locum Speech Therapist to deliver assessment, intervention, consultation and evaluation at a Northeast Singapore nursing home.

The role is part-time (1-2 days per week) with a 12-month contract and requires a degree in Speech and Language Therapy with full AHPC registration. Minimum 2 years' experience and strong communication skills are essential. Fluency in local languages is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Degree in Speech and Language Therapy and AHPC registration.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in speech therapy.
• Passionate about Speech and Language Therapy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in local languages is an advantage.
• Self-motivated to engage in continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess therapy needs using standard tools and forms.
• Develop and implement individual or group therapy programs.
• Provide one-to-one, group, or class therapy sessions as appropriate.
• Evaluate and document therapy needs and progress regularly.
• Update clients' status to staff and caregivers.
• Collaborate with staff and external agencies to enhance services.
• Maintain and update client case files and reports.
• Conduct in-house training for staff and caregivers.
• Develop and review department policies with management.
