Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd is hiring a Therapy Assistant (Locum/Perm) in the East with office hours. You will implement physiotherapy and occupational therapy care plans under supervision, assist in client lifting and transfers, and document daily therapy sessions.

Minimum education is secondary with therapy-related certificates. Candidates with 1 year of relevant experience and BCLS+ AED certification are preferred. Salary ranges and interview process apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum secondary education or equivalent with relevant therapy training.
• WSQ Certificate in Therapy Services or NITEC in Therapy Services or equivalent is required.
• 1 year of related experience preferred; BCLS+ AED certification is required.

Locum/ Perm Therapy Assistant (East/ Office hours)

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• To carry out the physiotherapy care plan as assigned by the Physiotherapist
• To carry out occupational therapy care plan as assigned by the Occupational therapist
• To attend to clients’ needs and assist in lifting and transferring clients where necessary.
• To report any abnormalities present in the clients.
• To record and document the therapy sessions performed by the clients daily.
• Proper handling of rehabilitative equipment.
• Maintenance of rehabilitative equipment and to report any faults to the Operation Executive and Physiotherapist.
• To ensure a safety environment for the clients to perform the therapies.
• Encourage clients to participate in MDRC activities / programs.
• Participates in any internal or external events for the centre as required.
• Follow clients on transport as and when required.
• Assist clients with music therapy sessions

Job Requirement

• Minimum Secondary school education / WSQ certificate in Therapy services / NITEC in Therapy Services or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of related experience
• BCLS+ AED certified
