Qualifications

• Ability to administer and interpret standardized assessments to tailor intervention plans.
• Experience teaching literacy/numeracy to learners with developmental or learning challenges.
• Strong communication and collaboration with parents and colleagues.
• Engagement in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and staying updated on research and methods.
• Familiarity with evidence-based literacy/phonics programs is advantageous.
• Registration with professional bodies demonstrating adherence to standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver lessons in individual or small group settings for diverse learning needs.
• Conduct informal and formal assessments to monitor progress.
• Develop and adapt teaching strategies and materials for young learners with special needs.
• Document progress with case notes and reports; share updates with parents.
• Lead Parent-Teacher Conferences to discuss learning and development.
• Contribute to curriculum design, resource development, and research pilots.
• Participate in training workshops to promote understanding of educational therapy.
• Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support holistic child development.
