WinGD is looking for Field Service Engineers. Note: Only applicants with Singaporean nationality or Singaporean employment pass will be considered.

Responsibilities:
  1. Carry out troubleshooting and routine maintenance for WinGD products. Perform onboard commissioning, sea trials, and maiden voyage support for 2-stroke engines. Execute warranty work, modifications, and design upgrades.
  2. Implement service orders from service partners and customers, supporting the entire process from new building to operation, ensuring good cooperation with stakeholders.
  3. Support ship owners with technical solutions.
  4. Generate service reports, trial reports, and memos for all attended events and activities.
  5. Provide progress updates, perform final tests, handovers, and prepare service work reports, including timesheets and expenses.
  6. Manage the team during work execution under your responsibility.
  7. Perform daily office activities as required.
  8. Ensure HSE standards are maintained during work execution.
  9. Provide internal and external reports and as-built documentation.
  10. Organize and report time and expenses after work completion.
  11. Support maintenance, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities as directed.
  12. Attend training courses and, when requested, train customers.
  13. Explain technical issues convincingly and educationally, demonstrating initiative.
  14. Maintain good customer relationships while adhering to WinGD's code of conduct and quality standards.
Requirements:
  1. Higher education degree (BSc in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering) with relevant experience as a Service or Commissioning Engineer.
  2. Experience with 2-stroke engine service and operation, including automation systems and electronics. Vessel experience is preferred.
  3. Knowledge of 2-stroke diesel engines, including performance, thermodynamics, vibrations, materials, and structures.
  4. Proficiency with PC software handling and setup, including RCS and electronics.
  5. Self-driven, self-critical, and committed to continuous improvement.
  6. Understanding of key success factors in our business and responsibilities.
  7. Good communication skills, proficiency in English (written and spoken).
  8. Teamwork-oriented, customer-focused, able to work under pressure, proactive.
