Job summary

TALENT-MERGE PTE. LTD. is seeking an LNG Technical Superintendent/Chief Engineer to oversee technical performance, reliability, and safe operation of LNG carriers.

You will monitor machinery conditions, coordinate repairs, and guide vessel teams on troubleshooting and planning. The role requires a marine engineering degree and 5–10 years seagoing LNG experience, with strong leadership and stakeholder-management skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture or related field.
• Chief Engineer Certificate of Competency is preferred.
• Minimum 5–10 years of seagoing LNG carrier experience as LNG Technical Superintendent or Chief Engineer on LNG vessels.

Responsibilities

• Oversee performance, reliability, and safe operation of LNG carriers.
• Monitor machinery condition and maintenance to ensure readiness.
• Coordinate repairs, dry-docking, upgrades within budgets and schedules.
• Review reports and maintenance records to identify corrective actions.
• Guide ships’ teams on troubleshooting and planning.
