Job summary

H2G Green Limited in Singapore seeks a hands-on LNG Plant Supervisor to lead daily operations, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and optimise production efficiency. You will manage operators, coordinate with maintenance and engineering, and drive reliability initiatives.

The role requires a Diploma or Degree in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering or related fields, at least 3 years in LNG or related industries, and strong knowledge of LNG processes, turbines, compressors, and control systems,

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of LNG, gas processing, petrochemical, or similar process industries.
  • Strong knowledge of LNG processes, gas turbines, compressors, and control systems.
  • Good understanding of Health, Safety and Environment standards.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, control, and optimize LNG production processes.
  • Lead, supervise, and guide plant operators and technicians.
  • Strictly adhere to Health, Safety & Environment requirements and report incidents.
  • Review process parameters and equipment performance; troubleshoot as needed.
  • Maintain accurate operating logs, shift reports, and production data.
  • Coordinate with maintenance, safety, engineering, and logistics teams.
  • Act as first-line responder during plant emergencies.
  • Ensure site cleanliness and adherence to 5S principles.

Job Description: LNG Plant Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:
1. Plant Operations Management
  • Monitor, control, and optimize LNG production processes to ensure smooth and efficient plant performance.
  • Establish protocols and safety standards and ensure the plant operations comply with operational procedures, operation standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate daily activities with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams.
2. Supervision & Team Leadership
  • Lead, supervise, and guide plant bottling operators and technicians during daily operations.
  • Provide on-the-job training, coaching, and performance feedback to staff.
  • Allocate manpower effectively for shift operations and critical tasks.
3. Safety & Compliance
  • Strictly adhere to Health, Safety & Environment requirements.
  • Conduct safety briefings, toolbox meetings, and ensure that safety procedures are followed.
  • Report incidents, near-misses, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
  • Ensure that all cylinders, fire extinguishers and other work-related equipment are well-maintained and follow up on all safety checks and requirements periodically.
4. Process Monitoring & Troubleshooting
  • Review process parameters and equipment performance, and take appropriate actions when deviations occur.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues, such as malfunction cylinders and equipment and coordinate with engineering or maintenance for technical resolutions.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in plant reliability and efficiency.
5. Documentation & Reporting
  • Maintain accurate operating logs, shift reports, and production data.
  • Update operational procedures and ensure all documentations is current and properly filed in the file and/or shared folders.
  • Support audits, inspections, and regulatory reporting.
6. Coordination with Other Departments
  • Work closely with maintenance, safety, engineering, and logistics teams to ensure seamless plant operations.
  • Assist in planning and executing plant shutdowns, turnarounds, and major maintenance activities.
7. Emergency Response
  • Act as first-line responder during plant emergencies.
  • Participate in emergency drills and ensure team preparedness.
8. Other ad-hoc matters
  • Ensure that the site maintain its cleanliness, follow the 5S principles
Requirements:
  • At least a Diploma or Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in LNG, gas processing, petrochemical, or similar process industries.
  • Strong technical knowledge of LNG processes, gas turbines, compressors, and control systems.
  • Good understanding of Health, Safety and Environment standards
