Job summary

ByteDance Seed Global Data seeks an LLM Training Operations Analyst to manage and optimize end-to-end workflows for training large language models with coding datasets. You will work on cross-functional projects, coordinating with product, engineering and content experts to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.

You will design, test, and refine operational workflows, model training strategies, and QA processes, while analyzing data to inform direction and improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required.
• 1-2 years of practical coding experience in Python/Java/Go/C/C++ through projects/work.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities to explain code concepts clearly.
• Excellent English and Mandarin, with written and spoken skills for collaboration.
• Interest in language models, computational thinking, and fast-paced environments.
• Familiarity with HTML, LaTeX and Markdown.

Responsibilities

• Drive cross-functional projects from incubation to execution with stakeholders.
• Design and manage multiple LLM training projects focusing on coding datasets.
• Coordinate with product managers, engineers, and content experts to plan workflows and track progress.
• Work with leads and teams to design, test, and optimize training workflows and QA processes.
• Analyze data to provide actionable insights and guide future model training directions.
• Develop data analysis strategies to evaluate training and validation set quality.
• Lead or support cross-domain initiatives to scale high-quality data generation.
