Job summary

Nanyang Technological University Singapore, hosted by the AI Safety & Governance Engineering (SAGE) team, seeks an AI Safety & Governance Engineer to advance safe, secure AI in the 100 Experiments programme and across industry projects.

You will run automated LLM safety pipelines, conduct red teaming, review architectures for vulnerabilities, and mentor apprentices while contributing to Singapore's safety standards and governance.

Qualifications

• Degree with relevant field and 2–4 years of work experience.
• Familiarity with LLM architectures, prompt engineering and API integration.
• Experience with vulnerability assessment or penetration testing.

Responsibilities

• Execute automated LLM safety testing pipelines integrated with CI/CD.
• Conduct red teaming and adversarial testing: prompt injections, data leakage, RAG poisoning.
• Review LLM system architectures for security vulnerabilities and provide secure design recommendations.
• Document vulnerabilities with severity, reproduction steps and remediation guidance.
• Support compliance with AI safety standards (ISO 42001, NIST AI RMF, OWASP LLM Top 10).
• Train and mentor AIAP apprentices on responsible AI practices.
• Contribute to community-building through talks, workshops, and documentation.
