Qualifications

Job description

Role Purpose

To support the EMEAA East BRR Legal team with managing legal files and databases, preparing contracts and correspondence, supporting compliance committee matters, conducting legal research, tracking legal expenses, and other related duties.

Key Accountabilities

The Litigation & Compliance Paralegal supports the EAPAC legal team in contentious matters, compliance, and contract management. Responsibilities include assisting the Chairperson of the EAPAC Compliance Committee, tracking hearing dates, managing court documents, organizing legal budgets for approval, and monitoring bills to ensure they stay within budget. The role involves drafting simple letters, assisting lawyers with contracts and correspondence. The ideal candidate should have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Education

  • Minimum Diploma in Legal Studies or “A” levels with 2 years of related experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience

Experience

Over 2 years of experience as a paralegal in a law firm or in-house legal team. Experience within hotel management companies or law firms is advantageous but not essential.
