eFinancialCareers Ltd. is partnering with a leading quantitative trading firm to hire a Linux Platform Engineer for its Singapore infrastructure team.

This senior, individual-contributor role focuses on Linux and bare-metal engineering, with ownership of performance-critical systems behind high-frequency trading platforms. Visa sponsorship and relocation support are available for exceptional engineering talent willing to move to Singapore.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Linux, systems or infrastructure engineering.
• Deep Linux knowledge across CentOS/RHEL preferred.
• Hands-on bare-metal infra and performance tuning experience.
• Networking knowledge for low-latency systems.
• Strong automation and scripting skills in Bash/Python/Ruby.
• Willing to relocate to Singapore.
• Nice to have Ansible, Puppet or Chef; Containers/Kubernetes; GCP.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimise Linux-based physical servers.
• Tune OS, hardware and applications for performance.
• Benchmark systems and identify bottlenecks.
• Automate infrastructure with Bash, Python or Ruby.
• Improve monitoring and reliability.
• Support expansion into new markets.
