Job summary

NHG Health is seeking a Linen Attendant to support daily hospital operations in Singapore. You will collect soiled linen, coordinate with a laundry vendor, and ensure timely distribution of clean linen to inpatient, outpatient, and offsite areas.

You will assist with curtain inventories and scheduling, manage the uniform store for staff, and perform routine quality checks to prevent defective linen from circulating.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospital linen operations or similar facility.
• Knowledge of infection control guidelines.
• Ability to work in a shift-based, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Collect soiled linen and send to laundry vendor for washing.
• Receive and distribute clean linen to departments per quantity requirements.
• Prepare curtains and manage curtain changes per schedule.
• Handle special items and uniform issuance for staff and new hires.
• Perform daily quality checks on linen and prevent defective items from circulating.
• Support inventory; ensure cleanliness and infection control compliance.
