Job summary

You will oversee quality control, inventory, safety, and training, resolve bottlenecks, and coordinate with housekeeping to maintain fresh linen for guests. A focus on safety and efficient workflow is essential to meet guest expectations.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in a commercial or hotel laundry facility, with at least 1 year in a team lead or supervisory capacity.
• High school diploma or equivalent; a tertiary degree in hospitality, tourism, or business management is advantageous.
• Industrial-grade washing machines and chemical dosing systems require technical familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shift schedules across washing, drying, ironing and folding stations.
• Monitor and ensure proper machine setup and operation, addressing bottlenecks quickly.
• Inspect finished goods for quality, stains, care and damage before distribution.
• Train new staff on equipment operation, textile handling, and safety procedures.
• Enforce PPE use and safety standards and collaborate with other departments for linen supply.
