Job summary

SBS Transit Ltd in Singapore invites an experienced engineer to support consultancy deliverables for Light Rail Transit projects, focusing on overall system design, compliance with requirements, RAMS, and security architecture. You will review design submissions, assess operability, maintainability, and constructability, and provide timely, constructive commentary to ensure readiness for final acceptance.

Minimum is a Bachelor's degree in Engineering with at least five years of railway

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required.
• Preferably 5+ years of railway or Light Rail Transit experience.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Review system design submissions for compliance with project requirements.
• Evaluate operability, maintainability, and constructability, and RAMS.
• Assess design interfaces and integration between subsystems.
• Provide timely, detailed commentary and follow-up actions.
• Support feasibility studies and on-site studies as required.
• Participate in client/contractor meetings and ensure closure of actions.
