About the RoleLooking for a stable, hands-on career in a technical trade that keeps Singapore moving?
As a Lift Technician in the Maintenance Department, you’ll perform scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance on elevator and escalator systems. You’ll report to the Maintenance Supervisor and work alongside a team of experienced technicians. This role includes standby duties, breakdown response, and inspection support, while ensuring full compliance with safety and quality standards.

- Work Location: Islandwide site deployment based on scheduled assignments
- Office Location: West Singapore – Near Jurong East MRT (NS1/EW24)
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:15 p.m.
- Salary Range: $2,300 – $3,010/month, aligned with industry standards for skilled technical roles
- Bonus Rewards: AWS (13-month), and variable performance bonus
- Other Allowances: Transport or mobility allowance provided (subject to role requirements and company policy); additional allowances subject to approval
What You’ll Be Doing
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on elevators and escalators according to schedule
- Respond to breakdowns and perform troubleshooting and repairs
- Carry out standby duties as assigned
- Adhere to safety procedures and use tools/equipment responsibly
- Support investigations into equipment damage or incidents
- Assist during inspections conducted by regulatory bodies (e.g., BCA, FSB)
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all maintenance work
- Follow up on QA/QC issues and report team matters to supervisors
- Carry out ad hoc duties in line with departmental goals
What They’re Looking For
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience preferred
- Entry Level with NITEC in Vertical Transportation or Mechanical Engineering are welcome to apply
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Understanding of lift/escalator systems and safety maintenance practices
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Physically fit to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in various outdoor conditions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and able to work both independently and in a team
