Job summary

A leading elevator servicing company is looking for a Lift Service Technician to maintain and service lifts. Responsibilities include troubleshooting faults, performing basic repairs, and responding to emergencies. Candidates should have an NITEC in relevant fields and be able to work on a 24/7 standby roster.

Qualifications

• NITEC or equivalent in relevant fields preferred.
• Candidates with basic electrical knowledge are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Support installation and commissioning of new lift systems when required.

• Position Title: Lift Service Technician
• Working Location: Ubi
• Working Hours: 5.5 days (Mon - Fri, 8.30am - 5.30pm; Sat, 8.30am - 12.30pm)
• Salary Package: Basic salary up to $2,500 + Variable Bonus
• Duration: Permanent Role

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out regular maintenance and servicing of lifts
• Replace parts and perform basic repairs as needed
• Respond to and resolve lift breakdowns promptly
• Troubleshoot and diagnose faults in lift systems
• Complete inspection checklists and maintenance records accurately
• Ensure all work is carried out according to safety standards and company procedures
• Communicate with building management and customers on site issues or service updates
• Join a 24-hour standby emergency service on a rotating schedule
• Support installation and commissioning of new lift systems when required
