Job summary

Allianz Reinsurance offers an internship opportunity in Asia Pacific for students or recent graduates to gain hands-on exposure to Life & Health Reinsurance Solutions. You will work with Client Management, Underwriting, Pricing and portfolio management, reporting to a supervisor while learning from experienced professionals.

Commitment is at least 6 months (January–June 2027) with a minimum of 3 days per week, English fluency required, and exposure to AI-enabled tools as part of the learning

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science or related field.
• Commit for at least 6 months (Jan–Jun 2027) with a minimum of 3 full days per week.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in other Asian languages is an advantage.
• Experience in a reinsurance or insurance company is a plus.
• Strong numerical skills and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; willing to learn AI-enabled productivity tools.

Responsibilities

• Support data verification, claims review and portfolio performance analysis to identify trends and insights.
• Assist with preparation of business quotation materials, pricing inputs, client presentations and internal papers.
• Support treaty and documentation work, including review, formatting and draft preparation.
• Explore practical use cases for AI-enabled tools to support research, summarisation, document prep and workflow improvement.
