Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. in Singapore seeks a Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) Grade 7 to oversee safe operation, maintenance, inspection, testing, and regulatory compliance of electrical installations.

You will ensure works meet regulatory requirements and safety policies while maintaining high uptime. You will supervise contractors, drive upgrades from planning through execution, and maintain records and permits.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Singapore LEW Grade 7 license.
• Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of relevant electrical operations, maintenance, or facilities experience.
• Strong knowledge of electrical regulations, switchgear, transformers, UPS and protection systems.
• Excellent troubleshooting and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as the appointed LEW, ensuring electrical installations comply with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee the operation, maintenance, and reliability of electrical systems and equipment.
• Conduct inspections, testing, fault diagnosis, and troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
• Manage preventive and corrective maintenance programs to ensure system performance and safety.
• Supervise contractors and vendors, ensuring work is completed safely and to required standards.
• Support electrical upgrade, replacement, and improvement projects from planning through execution.
• Maintain accurate technical records, certifications, permits, and compliance documentation.
• Promote a strong safety culture by conducting risk assessments, enforcing safe work practices, and supporting emergency response activities.

About the Role:
