WSH Experts seeks a Licensing Officer to manage and process license applications in Singapore. You will be responsible for screening applicants, liaising with relevant authorities, and providing customer support related to licensing. Ideal candidates should have strong attention to detail and good communication skills to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
To process new and renewal applications for licenses for any of the licensing regimes regulated by the Authority in compliance within the service turnaround key performance indicators as defined by the Authority
To screen applicants and business entities for new and renewal applications to assess whether they meet the fit and proper criteria for license grant by conducting verification and screening of applicants (persons, business entities) according to the standard operating procedures prescribed by Authority;
To process employee approval requests by licensees and operators (eg for Massage Establishments, Debt Collection agencies).
To liaise with other ministries to collate scores for pilot trials.
To track infringements by licensees and record the outcomes of Police’s action taken against the infringements.
To prepare replies to service requests, complaints and feedback from members of public, applicants and/or licensees as and when directed by the Authority.
To process applications for changes, or updates to information on licenses, or changes to licensing conditions, termination, suspension, and revocation.
To collate and maintain statistic and databases relating to licensing regimes.
To attend to enquiries, feedback and complaints from the public related to licenses and licensees and reply to these.
To send by email or conventional mail the soft or hard copies of notifications for license approval, rejection or renewals.
To provide basic customer service support for licensing related enquiries, such as:
(a) Provide the caller with the status of license application;
(b) Provide guidance to applicants on how to submit license applications
(c) Advise applicants on the information required to complete the applications
