Summary

The License Compliance Sales Specialist India (LCSS) is responsible for identifying and developing revenue opportunities within a specific territory through License Compliance (LC) cases. The LCSS guides the sales team and channel partners through the license compliance process and conducts direct negotiations with CxOs and VPs, including closing and securing purchase orders.

This role requires strong sales and interpersonal skills, working with a cross-functional team including legal, sales, channels, external legal counsels, third-party auditors, and LC service providers.

Responsibilities
  1. Recover revenue lost to unauthorized license use by supporting the protection and enforcement of the company's Intellectual Property Rights.
  2. Negotiate, close, and secure purchase orders for large License Compliance settlements, including large copyright infringements and license reviews.
  3. Manage cases by working closely with field sales, channel partners, legal teams, external legal counsel, third-party audit firms, and law enforcement to reach commercial resolutions.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience in sales or license compliance roles within a multinational software company.
  • Proven sales, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in English and the local language of the territory.
