Job description

Summary:

Assist the Senior Vice President, Managing Director APAC of BIT and the CEO of BIG to support business and protect and serve the interests of the company through the management of legal matters along with the development of appropriate internal processes, documents and trainings and provide high quality administrative support.

Responsibilities:

  • Acting as the regional (APAC) in-house lawyer
  • Advising management on legal implications of all major strategies, decisions and transactions
  • Acting as legal adviser on commercial contracts, corporate governance and policy matters
  • Support internal customers with processes for complying with procedures on agreements on an ongoing basis and through all applicable tools: trainings, clarifications, templates, etc.;
  • Prepare specific projects in collaboration with the sales team (assignment, termination, new distributor, consignment, sales terms, tenders, etc.)
  • Support the marketing team with the review of marketing documents
  • Compliance: training, compliance program support and development
  • Corporate matters: review and draft documents for corporate management; support development of corporate entities in cooperation with Finance and Management; provide administrative support for related activities;

Requirements:

  • Bachelor or Master of law Degree
  • At least 7-8 years working experience in a law firm or legal department
  • Ideally previous experience in an international healthcare company (medical device/pharma).
  • Fluent in English (both oral and written).
  • Autonomous, meticulous, paying attention to details and maintaining strict confidentiality at all times.
  • Previous experience with automated workflows and database design/support (SAP, Cobblestones) would be a plus.
