Job Description

As Legal Manager for Singapore, you will be required to:

1. Support Traveloka’s Singapore business, and potentially other locations, through providing succinct and actionable legal advice.
2. Develop a deep understanding of Traveloka’s business, including its commercial objectives and priorities.
3. Draft, review and negotiate agreements to ensure compliance with applicable laws.
4. Act as an independent review and evaluation body to ensure compliance issues are appropriately evaluated, investigated and resolved.
5. Advise the business on commercial claims and provide guidance regarding the performance of contracts.
6. Assist with dispute resolution to the extent necessary.
7. Handle company corporate secretarial work for the Singapore based Traveloka group entities, with the assistance of an external vendor.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

1. A growth mindset.
2. Excellent communication, drafting and negotiation skills.
3. A law degree from a reputable university.
4. A minimum of 5 years of post-qualification working experience.
5. Previously worked at a reputable law firm or multinational corporation as a legal counsel.
6. Extensive knowledge of Singapore laws as they may relate to Traveloka’s business.
7. Preferably some experience in the e-commerce and travel industry, though this is not required.
