Job Description
As Legal Manager for Singapore, you will be required to:
- Support Traveloka’s Singapore business, and potentially other locations, through providing succinct and actionable legal advice.
- Develop a deep understanding of Traveloka’s business, including its commercial objectives and priorities.
- Draft, review and negotiate agreements to ensure compliance with applicable laws.
- Act as an independent review and evaluation body to ensure compliance issues are appropriately evaluated, investigated and resolved.
- Advise the business on commercial claims and provide guidance regarding the performance of contracts.
- Assist with dispute resolution to the extent necessary.
- Handle company corporate secretarial work for the Singapore based Traveloka group entities, with the assistance of an external vendor.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- A growth mindset.
- Excellent communication, drafting and negotiation skills.
- A law degree from a reputable university.
- A minimum of 5 years of post-qualification working experience.
- Previously worked at a reputable law firm or multinational corporation as a legal counsel.
- Extensive knowledge of Singapore laws as they may relate to Traveloka’s business.
- Preferably some experience in the e-commerce and travel industry, though this is not required.
