Job summary

Atome is seeking a commercially minded Legal Manager to support its global game development, publishing and operations teams in Singapore. You will provide practical legal advice across the product lifecycle and help grow the business in compliant ways.

You will advise on commercial contracts, regulatory compliance, data privacy, IP, consumer protection and platform requirements, coordinating with external counsel as needed to manage risk.

Qualifications

• Law degree and qualified to practise in a recognised jurisdiction.
• Experience in gaming, technology, entertainment or digital platforms is advantageous.
• Proficient knowledge of commercial contracts, regulatory compliance, IP and data privacy.

Responsibilities

• Partner with product, publishing and operations on legal matters.
• Provide end-to-end legal advice across the product lifecycle from development to live operations.
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial, licensing, marketing, technology and vendor agreements.
• Advise on gaming regulations, consumer protection, payments and platform requirements.
• Support data privacy, content moderation and user-facing policies.
• Coordinate with external counsel and develop internal policies and training.

Role Overview

We are looking for a commercially minded Legal Manager to support our global game development, publishing and operations teams. The role will work closely with business stakeholders to provide practical legal advice, identify and manage risks, and support compliant business growth across multiple markets.

The successful candidate will advise on commercial contracts, regulatory compliance, data privacy, intellectual property, consumer protection and other product-related legal matters throughout the full product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with product, publishing, marketing and operations teams on legal and compliance matters.
• Provide legal advice throughout the product lifecycle, including development, launch and live operations.
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial, licensing, marketing, technology and vendor agreements.
• Advise on gaming regulations, consumer protection, payments, advertising and platform requirements.
• Support data privacy, AI governance, content moderation and user-facing policy matters.
• Manage intellectual property, regulatory enquiries, disputes and investigations.
• Coordinate with external counsel and develop internal legal policies, templates and training.

Requirements

• Degree in Law and qualification to practise law in a recognised jurisdiction.
• Relevant legal experience in a law firm or in-house legal team.
• Experience in gaming, technology, entertainment or digital platforms is advantageous.
• Knowledge of commercial contracts, regulatory compliance, intellectual property and data privacy.
• Strong business judgement, stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and manage multiple matters independently.
• Proficiency in English is required for legal drafting and business communication.
