Job description

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

· Support and perform related duties as assigned by the General Counsel

· Provide day-to-day legal support to business operations and internal teams.

· Assist in the identification, management and mitigation of legal risks.

· Draft, review and manage contracts, templates and internal legal documents.

· Assist in the delivery of in-house training on legal and compliance topics.

· Assist in the organization and filing of legal contracts and documentation and overall legal operations.

· Support the management of AEM's IP portfolio.

· Contribute to enhancement of the legal department's resources including development of policies, procedures, templates and checklists (where applicable)

· Assist in the handling of data privacy related issues.

· Assist and manage compliance with SGX listing rules and regulations.

· Support contract lifecycle management and ensure legal consistency across agreements.

· Manage and coordinate with external counsel as and when required.

· Collaborate with internal teams to support and strengthen internal controls.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

· Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Law (LL.B) from a recognized university.

· Admission to the Bar or equivalent legal accreditation is preferred.

· Minimum of three (3) years post-qualification legal experience in either private practice, in-house counsel positions, or a combination thereof.

· Strong administrative, organizational, interpersonal and communication (both written and oral) skills.

· Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced international environment while consistently meeting critical deadlines.

· Demonstrated ability to work proactively and independently while effectively managing multiple concurrent priorities.
