Job Description
Provide administrative and operational support to lawyers in the Private Wealth and Family department for legal matters such as estate planning, family trusts, family businesses, and family dispute resolution:
- Assist in client onboarding, management of files, preparation of court documents, and drafting/sending of correspondences
- Communicate with clients and other parties attendant to the various matters under your purview
- Assist in legal research and drafting of submissions
- Collaborate with the legal team to develop legal strategies that meet clients' needs
- Perform administrative duties e.g., scheduling of appointments and meetings; tracking of timelines and deadlines; data entry; collating and organising data and documents
- Manage online submission of forms, documents, and reports etc.
- Assist in set-up of meeting rooms for in-person meetings, court hearings, and videoconferencing
- Coordinate with courier services for dispatch of documents and other effects
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or a Diploma in law or a related field
- Experience in family law, estate planning, and family wealth management will be an advantage
- Experience in managing high net worth clients with sensitivity to confidential information
- Good communication and writing skills in English
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Candidates with no prior experience, but with a deep interest in family practice will be considered for training
