A leading company in Singapore is seeking a Legal Support specialist to provide legal guidance and help mitigate risks. This role involves managing contracts, compliance, and legal documentation while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Ideal candidates should hold a degree in Law, possess strong legal skills, and have at least three years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day legal support and guidance to internal business teams and management
Draft, review, and manage contracts, legal documents, and templates to support operations and projects
Identify, assess, and help mitigate legal and regulatory risks, including intellectual property and data privacy matters
Assist with compliance, including corporate regulations and listing requirements, and deliver internal training on legal issues
Support the organization and maintenance of legal records, documentation, and department resources
Collaborate with internal teams to strengthen internal controls and ensure consistency across agreements
Coordinate with external counsel for specialized legal matters as required
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Law, bar admission preferred
At least 3 years of relevant legal experience in-house, in private practice, or a combination
Strong skills in legal drafting, negotiation, organization, and communication
Ability to work independently and proactively manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
Demonstrated experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and meeting deadlines
