Job summary

A legal services provider in Singapore is seeking a legal associate to review bilingual contracts and assist with legal support for Singapore and overseas projects. The ideal candidate is familiar with Singaporean law and has experience drafting and revising legal documents in both Chinese and English. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential. This role requires 1-2 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

  • Capable of drafting and revising contracts, writing legal documents in both languages.
  • Familiar with Singaporean law, expertise in contract law and corporate law.
  • At least 1-2 years of work experience, preferably in CHN-funded companies.

Job description

Job Responsibilities

  • Review bilingual (Chinese and English) contracts and other legal documents within the Group, and identify legal risks.
  • Support coordination and communication for the establishment or changes of Singapore and other overseas companies in respect of corporate governance.
  • Assist in coordinating external law firms, secretarial firms, consulting firms, and other intermediary agencies.
  • Provide legal support for Singapore and other overseas companies or projects.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis in Singapore and other overseas jurisdictions according to group business needs.
  • Draft template contracts in English and standardize legal documents.
  • Handle other legal matters as assigned by leadership.

Job Requirements

  • Capable of drafting and revising contracts, as well as writing legal documents in both languages.
  • Familiar with Singaporean law, with expertise in contract law, corporate law, and other commercial regulations.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, a growth mindset, and strong learning ability.
  • At least 1-2 years of work experience, with a preference for candidates with experience in CHN-funded companies or with a background in CHN enterprises.
