Job summary

AirTrunk is seeking an experienced Legal Counsel, Capital Projects to partner with regional leadership across the Asia Pacific and handle site selection, property, planning, and land acquisition matters to support rapid hyperscale data centre expansion.

You will review complex contracts, provide practical commercial legal advice, and help shape policies while managing multiple workstreams and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. A law degree and 8+ years of property experience are required.

Qualifications

• Law degree from an accredited law school.
• Minimum of 8 years in real property experience at a reputable law firm and/or in-house.
• Experience advising across APJ markets on property, planning, leasing and acquisitions.
• Strong judgement and commercial acumen in negotiations and risk management.
• Ability to autonomously manage multiple workstreams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Review and negotiate legal contracts across APJ property and planning workstreams.
• Support Site Selection team to implement commercial arrangements and policies for rapid expansion.
• Monitor legal/regulatory developments in property, energy, construction and procurement and update policies.
• Advise on disputes and claims related to site selection and development.
