Job description

About Us

We are a fast-growing fintech company headquartered in Singapore, on a mission to drive financial inclusion through technology. Operating across multiple markets in Southeast Asia and beyond, we build and scale responsible credit and financial products for underserved individuals and small businesses. Innovation, integrity, and impact drive our work—and our people.

The Role

We are looking for a smart, motivated, and commercially minded Legal Manager (0–2 PQE) to join our lean but dynamic Legal team. You will work closely with the VP Legal and cross-functional teams (including Finance, Strategy, Funding, International Legal teams) to support the company’s growth while ensuring legal, regulatory, and reputational risks are well managed.

This is an excellent opportunity for a junior lawyer seeking in-depth exposure to a broad range of fintech, regulatory, commercial, and cross-border legal issues in a fast-paced, high-impact environment. The team works on many first of its first-of-its-kind transactions and ground-breaking acquisitions in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts including vendor agreements, NDAs, marketing agreements, and partnership deals.
  • Ensure legal and regulatory compliance across markets with the assistance of external vendors.
  • Help manage corporate governance matters including board resolutions, shareholder matters, and corporate filings.
  • Assist with legal operations, contract lifecycle management, and template updates.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare internal guidance notes or training materials as needed.
  • Monitor regulatory developments in our key markets and prepare summaries or impact analyses.
  • Liaise with external counsel where necessary on discrete matters.
  • Support special projects, such as market entry, licensing applications, complicated acquisitions and disposals, corporate loans, or fundraising transactions.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Law degree from a reputable university and admission to practice in Singapore (or a common law jurisdiction).
  • 0–2 years PQE in private practice or in-house legal teams. Fresh graduates who have completed training contracts or relevant internships are welcome to apply.
  • Demonstrated interest in fintech, financial services, or startup environments.
  • Strong contract drafting and legal analytical skills.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and timelines in a fast-moving environment.
  • Team player with good interpersonal skills and a practical, solution-oriented mindset.
  • High integrity, strong work ethic, and willingness to roll up your sleeves.

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Exposure to regional legal or regulatory work in Southeast Asia.
