Google's legal department is at the forefront of an information law revolution. As a Legal Assistant, you will be a key contributor to your Legal team, supporting process creation and improvement, record maintenance, legal research, and communication coordination. You will collaborate with multiple groups within the Legal Department, internal clients across Google, and external parties. The role requires an independent thinker who is organized and detail-oriented.

You will execute tasks and support the Legal Department on various legal and administrative matters within project scope. Responsibilities include acting as a point of contact for clients, preparing legal document drafts, creating process documentation, and leading training sessions. You will manage well-defined projects, handle legal and business matters of moderate complexity with guidance, and interact with diverse stakeholders.   • Coordinate board and shareholder meetings, prepare related documents, take minutes, maintain records, and ensure regulatory filings are completed
  • Assist in preparing legal document drafts and process documentation, and lead internal training sessions
  • Ensure adherence to policies and procedures, provide guidance, and perform corporate housekeeping tasks such as document tracking, routing for signatures, filing, and handling certifications
