Job summary

GovTech invites applications for a Lecturer (Integrated & Smart Facility Management) in the School of Engineering. The role involves delivering lessons to diploma and adult learners, designing curriculum, and supervising student projects in collaboration with industry partners.

You will apply IT tools and multimedia platforms to boost teaching effectiveness, mentor students academically, and contribute to admin and outreach activities, including local and overseas study trips.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Facilities Management, Mechanical Eng, Electrical Eng, Building Sciences, or related Built Environment field.
• At least 3 years of facilities management or sustainability consultancy experience.
• Hands-on with Smart Facilities Management, BIM for FM, Digital Twin, Building IoT, and data analytics.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lessons to full-time diploma students and part-time adult learners.
• Design, develop, and deliver curriculum, courseware, and e-learning modules.
• Supervise and assess student projects and internships in collaboration with industry partners.
• Apply relevant IT tools and multimedia platforms to enhance teaching effectiveness and student engagement.
• Coach and mentor students in academic development, competitions, career guidance, and personal growth.
• Undertake academic administration and committee work, and support outreach activities and study trips.
• Plan, lead, and contribute to projects with industry partners, including internships and capability development initiatives.
