[What the role is]
Seeking an experienced and creative Lecturer to design and deliver pre-employment training for future social work associates and program executives, as well as adult education and upskilling programs for professionals in the social service and healthcare sectors. The role involves developing blended curricula, engaging in industry partnerships, mentoring learners, and leading student trips. Candidates must have a strong background in social work, excellent public speaking skills, and experience in training & capability development.[What you will be working on]
In this role, you are required to teach and guide pre-employment learners and develop our future social work associates and programme executives. You will also get to develop and deliver continuing adult education and upskilling programmes for in-service practitioners in the social service and healthcare sectors. You must be passionate about teaching, be creative in developing a blended curriculum, using both face-to-face and digital modes.
You will be actively involved in industry engagement, marketing of upskilling programmes, support overseas exchange, and be a mentor to our learners. A lecturer must be versatile in public speaking in both large and small group settings. You should understand the business needs in the social service sector and feel comfortable exploring different curriculum content on emerging trends and technology.
Responsibilities:
· Develop curriculum and deliver courses related to social work, to both pre-employment learners and in-service social service practitioners-adult learners
· Coach, mentor and support learners
· Lead or support in school outreach activities, orientation programme, overseas student trips
· Supervise and coordinate with industry partners on projects and field placements
· Conduct business needs scanning and develop appropriate business development plans for new training opportunities

· At least 8 year(s) of relevant experience in the social service sector
· Relevant qualification in Social Work.
· Proficient in excel and office skills
