Job summary

The Building and Construction Authority (BCA) invites qualified professionals to join our team in Singapore. We champion a future-ready built environment and oversee training programmes for engineers and industry practitioners.

Successful candidates will contribute to curriculum design, digital MEP coordination, and partnerships with academic institutions and industry bodies to ensure programmes meet current Singaporean standards and industry needs.

Qualifications

• Relevant academic qualifications and/or professional accreditations, with demonstrated experience in Mechanical Engineering and Digital MEP Design and/or Digital coordination.
• Proven industry experience and a strong understanding of Singapore’s Building Engineering sector, including prevailing industry practices, standards and sustainability requirements.
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop and manage training programmes for professionals and students, ensuring alignment with industry needs and educational standards.
• Design, review and enhance programme curriculum and course materials to maintain academic rigour and industry relevance.
• Curate and deliver engaging and effective learning experiences through various teaching modes, including the incorporation of technology-enabled learning approaches.
• Facilitate workplace learning through close collaboration with industry partners and mentorship of students.
• Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with academic institutions, industry associations, firms, and subject matter experts to enhance programme quality and relevance.
