Job summary

sggovterp is seeking a Lecturer who will contribute beyond teaching, recognising and nurturing students' potential and their lifelong learning needs.

In addition to teaching, you will lead industry or consultancy projects and maintain strong links with industry and schools. Regular industry attachments will help you stay current and advance your practical knowledge in security systems and analytics.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of relevant work experience in electronics security dealing with Device-to-System or System-to-System integration.
• Knowledge in two or more of: design and development of security systems (Python, C/C++ on Windows/Linux/Android/iOS).
• Experience with video analytics solutions (facial/plate recognition, crowding, abnormal traffic) using ML/DL.
• Experience in deploying security operation centers or security command centres is a plus.
• Understanding of networking, TCP/IP, and cybersecurity practices for project implementation.

Responsibilities

• Teach and facilitate learning with a focus on student growth.
• Lead industry or consultancy projects to keep skills current.
• Facilitate regular industry attachments or experiences to update professional practice.
• Support development of students for leadership paths within Colleges or Headquarters.
