Job summary

Public Service Division seeks a Lecturer in Mobility & Robotic Systems within the School of Engineering. You will lead curriculum development, deliver courses, supervise student projects, and mentor learners in robotics, automation, and intelligent transport systems.

You will also develop CET lessons, spearhead industry collaborations, undertake consultancy work, and support programme administration while fostering student growth and engagement.

Qualifications

• Qualification in electrical / electronic / mechanical / mechatronic engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience in design, deployment, and commissioning of robotics or intelligent transport systems is preferred.
• Hands-on programming and electronics skills with hands-on robotics experience are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Curriculum development and course delivery for large mobility and robotic systems.
• Student project supervision and mentoring in robotics, automation, and ITS.
• Develop CET lessons and pursue industry collaborations.
• Lead project development or consultancy work with industry.
• Undertake administrative tasks related to the programme.
• Support student development activities and learning journeys.
