Job summary

Public Service Division is seeking a Lecturer (Sustainable Built Environment) in the School of Engineering to design and deliver diploma-level courses in HVAC, ACMV and related Built Environment disciplines. You will integrate smart building technologies, analytics, AI and digitalisation into teaching.

You will also develop CET programmes for adult learners, supervise projects, mentor students and lead industry collaborations to strengthen education, innovation and workforce readiness.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Sustainable Built Environment, Facilities Management, Energy Engineering, Architecture or related discipline.
• Preferably with at least 3 years of relevant industry experience in HVAC, ACMV, Green Mark consultancy, or related Built Environment sectors.
• Strong knowledge of ACMV/HVAC systems, energy-efficient building services, and green building technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver lessons to full-time diploma students in HVAC, ACMV, Building Services Engineering, energy management, green buildings and related Built Environment disciplines.
• Integrate industry-relevant technologies such as smart building systems, building analytics, digitalisation and AI into teaching and learning.
• Develop CET programmes for adult learners and industry professionals.
