Job summary

Ngee Ann Polytechnic in Singapore is hiring a Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering on a 2-year contract in the School of Engineering. You will help develop curriculum, deliver lectures, and assess modules related to Advanced Manufacturing, Mobility Systems, Thermofluids, or Systems Engineering.

You will also undertake course management tasks, foster industry collaborations, mentor students, and supervise industry or consultancy projects to keep teaching current.

Qualifications

• Possess relevant Mechanical Engineering/ Systems Engineering qualifications, with at least 5 years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience in Advanced Manufacturing/ Smart Factory Systems, Mobility Systems Design, Thermofluids, and Systems Engineering would be an advantage.
• Experience in 3D CAD design or CAE would be desirable.
• Passionate about education and possess a strong interest in nurturing, teaching, mentoring and interacting with students.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-driven, independent, and ready to work as a team.
