Job summary

Ngee Ann Polytechnic invites applications for a two-year contract position as a Lecturer in the School of Engineering. You will contribute to curriculum development, teach modules covering embedded systems, programming, computer engineering and related areas, and engage in industry collaborations to keep programs industry-relevant.

The role requires a relevant engineering degree and at least 5 years of industry experience, with a passion for teaching and strong communication skills to mentor

Qualifications

• A relevant degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Microelectronics.
• At least 5 years of industry experience in areas such as product design/development/manufacturing, systems engineering, network/cloud infrastructure, or cybersecurity.
• A passion for education and a strong commitment to nurturing, teaching, mentoring, and engaging with students.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts effectively.
• A self-driven and independent working style, coupled with strong collaborative abilities and a team-oriented mindset.
