Job description

What the role is:

As a Lecturer, your contributions go beyond teaching and facilitating learning. You will play a critical role in recognising and nurturing your students’ potential and their lifelong learning needs.

What you will be working on:

You will carry out industry or consultancy projects to stay relevant in your profession and adapt to industry changes, maintaining strong linkages with industry and schools. You will also have opportunities for industry attachments or experience to update your skills, knowledge, and practices.

What we are looking for:

You should be trained in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or Automotive Engineering, with at least 3 years of relevant experience in the automotive service industry or working with vehicles, electronics, or parts like engines and transmissions. Knowledge in using diagnostic and wheel alignment equipment is required, with a preference for experience with Hybrid or Electric vehicles. Previous experience as an instructor or coach in a mechanical discipline would be advantageous.

Candidates with relevant experience may be considered for Senior Lecturer or equivalent roles, with career development opportunities into leadership positions within the Colleges or Headquarters.
