Job summary

sggovterp invites applications for a Lecturer (Electronics) in the School of Engineering to deliver courses to full-time diploma students and part-time adult learners, and to contribute to curriculum development and assessments.

You will design courseware in Power System Analysis, Transmission and Distribution, System Protection, Smart Grid, and related subjects, supervise projects, and engage with industry partners.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related discipline with at least 3 years of industry experience.
• Strong technical knowledge in electrical engineering, including power systems, protection, and control.
• Knowledge of electronics applications, Industrial IoT, and AI-enabled IoT systems is a plus.
• Proven ability to lead and deliver industry-focused projects.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lessons to full-time diploma students and part-time adult learners.
• Design, develop, and deliver curriculum, courseware, and e-learning modules for multiple programmes.
• Supervise and assess student projects and internships with industry partners.
• Apply IT tools and multimedia platforms to enhance delivery and engagement.
• Counsel, coach, and mentor students for academic learning and career guidance.
• Undertake academic administration, committee work, and outreach initiatives.
• Plan and lead projects with industry partners, including internships and capability development.
