Job summary

sggovterp's School of Informatics & IT invites applications for a Lecturer (Information Technology). You will conduct lessons (Face-to-Face and Online) to full-time and part-time students and carry out all responsibilities related to teaching and learning.

You will supervise and develop student capabilities in project work, design active, experiential and project-based learning that leverages AI tools, intelligent agents and automation technologies, and mentor students across industry-sponsored

Qualifications

• Qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence or a related computing discipline.
• At least 2 years of relevant industry experience in software engineering, AI-enabled applications, cloud technologies, data engineering or related fields.
• Proficient in software development using modern programming languages, frameworks and development tools.
• Experience in AI-driven software development, AI agents and intelligent automation, system design and architecture.
• Familiar with Agile development, version control, software testing and systems integration.
• Professional certifications in Agile, DevOps, AIOps, Cloud Computing, Software Engineering will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures (face-to-face and online) to full-time and part-time students and assess their work.
• Supervise and develop student capabilities in project work and industry-sponsored projects.
• Design and facilitate active, project-based learning using AI tools and automation technologies.
• Provide guidance, feedback and mentoring to support students' development.
• Contribute to curriculum development, assessment design and continuous improvement.
• Support applied research, outreach initiatives and school strategic projects.
